Guided Visit to the Philharmonie of Luxembourg

On the 6th of June 2024, the Friends of ERA enjoyed a guided tour of the Philharmonie of Luxembourg, delving into the realms of both music and architecture.

Our group had the opportunity to experience the Philharmonie’s impressive and contemporary architectural design, best known for its unique white columns and of course its countless renowned performance spaces. The building is designed to resemble a gigantic transparent harp and its functional and minimalistic features offer a truly captivating experience.

It was impressive to visit the Grand Auditorium, the Salle de Musique de Chambre with its classic ’shoebox‘ footprint, and to discover the backstage operations of the Philharmonie, by exploring the Conductor’s Room and the Entrée des Artistes.

After the tour, our Friends of ERA community enjoyed a dinner at El Barrio, a local place for tapas and Spanish food in Luxembourg. The evening provided an excellent opportunity for friends of ERA to come together, network, and engage in lively conversations about our shared passion for food, culture, and of course, EU law.

We were delighted to welcome some new members yesterday and look forward to future experiences and shared memories as a group.
