On 14 November another memorable visit of the Luxembourg fellow members of the Friends of ERA took place with a visit to the ESM – European Stability Mechanism.
We had the honour to be welcomed by João Gião, General Counsel of the ESM, and to be part of a panel discussion with the best experts in their fields: Marialena Athanasopoulou (Deputy Head of Economic Risk Analysis), Francis Dassyras (Team Lead of Funding) and Yerbolat Rakhmetov. This session turned out to be a an informative debate and the speakers took their time for a Q&A session.
A special mention also goes to Michal Kianička and Raluca Coman, our organisers who gave us access to the ESM and for the excellent guided tour withinteresting glimpses behind the scenes. A big thank you to both of them!
We had another special guest, Jettie Van Caenegem, Chairwoman of the Friends of ERA Association, who came to meet and greet our Luxembourg friends.
Once again, our local Chapter concept proved to be such a good platform to meet other members of the Association, to catch up on the latest news and to socialise with old and new friends in a joyful atmosphere, this time in the vibrant Portuguese restaurant Piri-Piri.
Another iconic gathering of the Luxembourg Friends of ERA. And yes, it is absolutely worth attending.
