Followed by a dinner with the Friends of ERA German and Luxembourg Chapter
On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the world-famous philosopher Karl Marx we had the pleasure to host a special event in his home town of Trier on 17th May 2018. 25 Friends of ERA paid a visit to his childhood home and enjoyed a privately guided tour which gave a thorough introduction to his life and work.
The evening concluded with a dinner at the local restaurant “Das Weinhaus”. We were able to take full advantage of Trier’s location close to Luxembourg so this was a reunion of the German and Luxembourg Chapters.
This cheerful and pleasant get together was deemed a great success.
