Visibilità e potere delle donne in Europa: Storie ed esperienze nel settore giuridico
On 25 November 2025, in the charming Palazzo Taverna, before a room full of Friends of ERA, five eminent speakers shared their insights and experiences as women who have reached the heights of diverse careers in the field of law. We were fortunate to welcome:
- Margherita Cassano, President emerita of the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation, Italy
- Ramona Frendo, Judge at the Court of Justice of the European Union, Luxembourg
- Ornella Porchia, Professor of European Law, University of Turin; former President of Chamber at the EU General Court
- Monica Dialuce Gambino, former Chief Inspector of the Red Cross
Their testimonies highlighted both the achievements and the remaining challenges regarding women’s visibility and empowerment in Europe, showing that while barriers persist, they are destined to fall.
The roundtable discussion was moderated by Giulio Gambino, Director of Il Post Internazionale, and opened by Gabriella Muscolo, of counsel at Rucellai & Raffaelli and Chapter coordinator of the Friends of ERA.
