The German Chapter of the Friends of ERA visited the Frankfurt Stock Exchange with a delegation of 14 participants. Coincidentally, on the same day as the market debut of a new company (AUMOVIA), marked its entry as the 41st company listed in the DAX index.
The guided tour was both engaging and informative, providing valuable insights into the historical development and current operations of the stock exchange.
As a small souvenir a group photo was taken in the historic trading floor, widely recognized from television broadcasts, which traditionally hosted trading activities -now largely replaced by the electronic platform Xetra.
The attendees represented a broad spectrum of legal expertise, including lawyers in private practice, public prosecutors, EU officials, and in-house counsel. The context of the visit also brought to Frankfurt three Friends of ERA from Croatia, Luxembourg, and Ukraine, highlighting the international character of the network and the core idea of cross-border exchange and professional networking that the Association fosters among its members.
The evening concluded with an informal networking aperitif and light snacks at the nearby Bull & Bear Bar, named after the two iconic figures of the stock market, the bull and the bear, symbolizing the constant rise and fall of the markets.
All in all, another successful and insightful event for the Friends of ERA, combining professional exchange with a fun factor in a pleasant atmosphere!
